Bodum has been a reputable brand for tea and coffee since its founding in 1944. This brand aims to bring quality tea and coffee to all households, creating products at a reasonable and affordable price point. Bodum also strives for sustainability where ever they can, taking the environment into account with every design. They are most well-known for their coffee makers and double wall coffee cups. Some of their bestsellers include the Bodum Chambord French Press range and the Bodum Caffettiera French Press range. These French presses come in a range of sizes, ranging between 350ml to 1.5L. The glasses are made from heat-resistant glass that is double walled. The double wall construction helps to keep hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold. If you are a coffee lover or know someone who is, it is definitely worth browsing the Bodum brand.

Are Bodum glasses good?

Bodum glasses are well-known for their stylish, modern appearance. Some people describe Bodum cups and mugs as an art piece in themselves. With a double wall construction, your drinks are designed to stay at your desired temperature. This means your hot coffee will stay hotter for longer and your iced tea will stay colder for longer. This is the biggest selling point of Bodum glasses, making them a practical addition to your kitchen. Another great feature of Bodum glasses is that the outside of the glass doesn’t heat up very much so you won’t get burnt. It also means that condensation is a thing of the past! They are pretty unique, making a great gift for someone you love. Able to be used for a wide variety of different drinks, these glasses have versatility on their side. Make yourself a hot chocolate, coffee, cocktail, iced tea or chilled glass of juice. More often than not, Bodum glasses are also conveniently designed for dishwasher safe use and microwave safe use. These glasses are available in a range of different litreages, shapes and set sizes to suit your household. Choose from a bunch of different ranges, including Pavina, Bistro, Canteen and more.

Which Bodum French press is best?

Bodum has a wide range of French presses in different styles and sizes to suit your personal preferences. There is no clear-cut answer to which one is better, as it largely depends on what the consumer is after. In general, Bodum French presses are rated highly due to being great value for money. The most iconic Bodum French press is most likely the Bodum Chambord, as it is the original model – going hand in hand with the Bodum name. It is known for producing rich, flavourful coffee, whilst also being extremely shatter-resistant. The plastic body gives the appearance of glass, as it is perfectly see-through. However, it has the added bonus of not breaking like glass would. With a stainless steel framing, you can also get an extra bit of durability. The Chambord comes in a range of sizes, depending on how much coffee you would like to brew. We also have the Bodum Caffettiera French press available, which is a slightly cheaper alternative if you are on a strict budget.

How to use Bodum French Presses?

The French press method is classed as one of the easiest ways to brew tasty coffee! There are only a few steps in this process, starting with adding the coffee grounds into the carafe. The next step is to boil water in the kettle and pour it into the carafe after 30 seconds. Make sure to leave an inch of space at the top so you do not overfill it. Next, it is time to brew! Grab a plastic or wooden spoon to remove the foam from the top. Pop the lid back on and turn it to closed and leave it to sit for around about 4 minutes. Once it has brewed, push down on the plunger to stop the brewing process and to trap the coffee grounds at the bottom of the carafe. For more tips and tricks, it is definitely worth heading to the official Bodum site/blog. Have a look at all the Bodum French Presses we have available. We have the Chambord and Caffettiera at the moment, with hopefully more to come in the future. They are available in an array of different sizes, measured in both litres and cups. The 12 cup is the largest, and is great if you like to have guests over or if you are a large household of coffee drinkers. The 3 cup or 4 cup would be a better option for small households.
