Potatoes are best kept between 45°F/7°C and 50°F/10°C. At lower temperatures, potato starch converts into sugar. At higher temperatures, potatoes becomes dehydrated.
Avoid storing under the sink which is often a warm environment close to the dishwasher.
Store in a cool place, away from direct sunlight, for best results.
The Potato Smart™ Container can also be used in cellars that are not too damp.
Periodically wash the Container to maintain good performance, especially if any liquid has dripped or spilled into it.
